A pancake mix containing a milk allergen recalled from supermarkets

A pancake mix that contains an undeclared milk allergen has been recalled from supermarkets and heath food stores across the nation.

Elixinol Wellness (Byron Bay) Pty Ltd has recalled Mt Elephant Buttermylk Wholefood Pancake Mix 230g after a milk allergen was discovered in the product.

The products effected have date markings of best before: BB 19Mar2025; BB 09Oct2024; BB 10Oct2024 and BB 19Dec2024.

Elixinol Wellness (Byron Bay) Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of the above product. The product has been available for sale at Coles and Woolworths nationally, and available for purchase online nationally.

The product was available at Coles, Woolworths, independent supermarkets, health food stores and online nationally.

A Elixinol Wellness (Byron Bay) Pty Ltd spokesperson said consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance may react if the product is consumed.

“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the spokesperson said.

“Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”
